the lighting could use a little work, but this is pretty cool as is, other than being a little dark it looks fantastic, excellent scene!!!

This is fantastic so far. I agree with ya that some additional lighting would help... perhaps to provide a bit of contrast in lower half of the scene. Some caustics might help as well. You can do a search in the bryce forum for "caustics" and find some discussion on the subject. My only water scene used a technique of using two renders. One for the basic scene and the second for the lighting and atmosphere. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
