Description

- I was thinking about the monthly challange - although I don't have the exotic subject matter at hand to shoot - I did find this " Little Bird " - Just a babby really - not quite ready to fly - It was almost dark so I used a flash - other than that I only slightly sharpened to compensate for resizeing - So I thought I see If I could get some real constructive feed back on this - Thankz for your view - take care and see ya after the holiday weekend :) - SoulEatar -

That is a little bird. I love the purple sky and the way he's almost lost in the leaves.

Well Greg, I thought I had made a comment on this piece, but maybe it didn't take. I love the backlighting with this picture. The bird, though little, especially when set against the tree, still commands one's eye. The fact that it was done at night gives an even greater impact. Excellent photographic work Greg. You have a great eye! Have a wonderful day!...Cheryl

what a neat find... i'm not sure what you would need to carry around with you to achieve a more natural lightening for i get this white flash too, some off, off lighting accessory i suppose... :]

Yessuh, that flash, with the twilight sky, gives layered depth in the leaves. Guess most wouldn't pay no nevermind lessen you had a little bird or rubber duckie or sumthin' like that to serve as diversion. [Brilliant effect!]
