Description

This is my small tribute to the men and women who served our country and gave thier lives so that I might live free and follow my dreams. Thank you for your sacrifice. This photo of a Gerber Daisy reminded me of a fireworks explosion. Memorial Day is one of the US holidays known for it's fireworks displays, so I thought this a fitting image. I altered the colors a bit in Photoshop to bring out the "red, white and blue" theme. I hope those of you in the US and abroad are having a great Memorial Day weekend. Very appropriate tribute, I really like the photo of this one...gerbera's are one of my wife's favorite flowers (however they are only annuals here in Wisconsin!). I really like the glow effect on the petal tips! Fantastic work again, Kort!
