Description
Just as nature sometimes has its turbulent periods and calms down afterwards, I did experience tranquillity being a couple of weeks outdoors. Taking distance, literally, enables one to recalibrate, to focus on what the important things of life are. The rainbow here illustrates this quite well. Rebuilding reserves is necessary for anticipating on new developments. I felt very blessed by being there in the mountains once again. God has been very good for me.
Reading your warm comments I felt very encouraged by them. I realised the past two weeks I missed RR, but taking new pictures I kept in mind what I've learned here. It takes only some time to develop the slides, frame them, scan them and finally posting some of them. It's the old fashioned way of taking pictures. And another problem arises, my hard disk is getting full. Hmmm. Well, whatever, there is still enough to show you :)
Notice (1) the very faint outer rainbow, (2) the intensity of light inside and outside the rainbow and (3) the remarkable difference in colors between the broad-leaved forest (fresh young green leaves) and the pine forest, all mixed together on the slopes of the mountain ridge (Sigriswiler Grat).

a beautiful scene!!! I'm always mesmerized when i see a rainbow because i so rarely see them!!! and a double rainbow is very special!!!
