I suppose celebrities get used to having this sort of scrutiny, still, it seems like an awsome thing. I agree with Cynlee, the drawing points in several interesting directions all at once and I like it very much.

Thought provoking.... the colors are darker than your usual color pallette, which really adds to the foreboding mood.

A multi-layered work, one of your best that I've seen. I can't help but notice how your MJ looks like portraits of a young Oscar Wilde, and how similar their situations are relative to the societies they find (found) themselves in.

I hadn't noticed the similarity with OW, but now that you mention it I do recall a portrait of him with a hat and a similar coat, and their situations certainly bear comparison, interesting connection...

At first I didn't get the MJ connection, probably because I'm tired and burned out, I'm not one to pay much attention to public opinion because everyone has one! (lol), but then I saw the peering scrutinizing eyes of the opinionators and got a chuckle...
