Description

The great golden city of the ancient races rises above the still green ocean of the Metaworld. Multicolored sentient spores hide the towers that have stood on this spot since before man walked out of Africa. Times seem to stand still on the Metaworld. The great spores move slowly. A thousand years would show only the slightest of change. The Ancients buildings need only the most minor of adjustments to accommodate the fungal spores growth. Hundreds of millennia will pass before large changes appear. The oldest of the spores have been in this very spot for millions of years. In silence they watch the mayflies known as the ancients. Pondering the strange buildings that arose here a few mere million years ago, a mere generation or 2 out of their billion-year-old linage. Minds that ponder at the speed of glaciers keep a careful eye on buzz of the ancients around them. The ancients in turn listen to a new and disturbing burst of radio noise. From a nearby yellow star, there appears to be a new and annoying young race, slowly expanding through the nearby stars. Five hundred years have past since the first signal was detected. If that new upstart race becomes too annoying, the great ships of the ancients will have rise from the seafloor. Cant have children running amok making a mess of the neighborhood.
