Description

Dedicated to MayCayenne, hope your dreams and wishes come true. This is the closest I have ever been to the moon, which is a shame really because it's one of my favorite things in this world. I spent most of the night staring at it before deciding to take about 100 shots from different angles and locations throughout Doha.

Synchronicity, those days I've try to make some shots of the moon but weather is so so bad. Scientist of AKONA (Alaska) with this monstruous project call HAARP shall stop to manipulate the weather of the planet because it could transform our earth in such image ! Excellent astronomical shot with the right light and aperture. V

i used to love that full moon too until I got into nursing...lol... full moons do bring out some strange things! And MANY babies! Lovely site nonetheless!

May 6th about 5.00 GMT you were closer (perigeum, distance 359811 km according to my guide) :) Great shot, very impressive!

Moonlight is by far my favorite kind of light, and I have always felt drawn to the moon (the way some are drawn to sunbathe). This is very well done... I like this one very much. I prefer the moon to the sun, she does not reveal more than she wishes to, she keeps much hidden in the secrecy of her shadows...and her touch does not harm.

You have to wait until it's close to the horizon and you'll get him much bigger than this. Still waiting on such a day too :-)
