I just found this photo in my archives. I took this photo at a live performance of McLaughlin's band Shakti. The concert took place in August 1976 at the Great American Music Hall, San Francisco. Thanks for looking!

One of the great things about San Francisco's Great American Music Hall is that you get close to the musicians. After 30 years, I don't remember which camera I was using. lol!

This is what B&W is for. I love the composition. John's look is transcendent as is his playing. Look how relaxed his fingers appear. Remarkable capture. Thanks for sharing.
