Description
The Earth planet viewed from the Moon.
A blend of mixed medium, Terragen for the Moon landscape, Lightwave for the Earth planet and Photoshop for stars, subtle nebula clouds and final image assembly.
The image native size is 6000px x 4500px 72dpi

Wow. I've just set this as my desktop wallpaper. The textures are fantabulously superfictific....! Only crit, I'm no astronaut but I do believe the Earth is a tad smaller than that from the moon. Apart from that, like I said it's Exquistitably Stupenderocious!!! :)

ChrisWalker, thanks for your feedback, I'm happy that you like it! You are 100% right, the Moon is much smaller in reality. I've enlarged it just to fill the image thinking as the astronaut take this shot with a telephoto lens.

Wow! Nice big Earth. The moon is too far north, though. And the Sun is way far to the north. Great job still.
