Description

Altogether I really like this image, but I'm not completely satisfied with the water. Can anybody give me a hint how to get rid of these lines in the water? - Thanks for viewing and have a nice day... -

NOW THAT IS BEAUTIFUL. THAT BLUE SEA, AND I LOVE THAT THE SUBJECT OF THE IMAGE IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GRAPHIC, AND IS SURROUNDED BY THE OCEAN. VERY VERY NICE. WOW VERY COLORFUL.

scher himmel und pov. das wasser sieht etwas stumpf aus... also ohne reflections. im schatten des forderen felsen sieht es besser aus, finde ich.

Wonderful! yeah those lines! how did u get them? It probably maybe the ZOOM in the RENDERING CONTROL -- if u reduce it, it may help. I know that this effect happens in the terrain but I never knew it could happen wth water. Maybe, this could be the problem.

Superb colours, pov and surface; great atmo/lighting and nice water and sky - I guess the water's down to taste, but to me it looks great for this image

Beautiful picture with beautiful colors. I've had lines appear in my water also and noticed that the lines seem to get worse when I use extra blended detail...not real sure though. Excellent image!!!

Really good work with the strata. Atmo is quite eye-catching, too. About the lines - maybe the zoom, but try a lower height / larger wave combo + make the patches large. Good luck!

I like the mood of this pic. Water seems not to be real but it is that which gives charm !!

I agree w/Rich except, judging by the perfect roundness of the sun, I don't think the zoom is the problem. From where I sit, I don't pick up on the 'lines' you refer to. As Mark mentioned, maybe not using the 'blended' detail setting might eliminate the problem. The picture is excellent. I see other possibilities here.

The colour contrast and the composition is excellent in this image. Also I think the water works well in this image.

Those lines remind me of the water in Halo. They had small patches so the scene could render at an acceptable frame rate. Very cool strata and atmosphere, though. The water color is very soothing.

Very nice set of colors and color contrast!...yes, I see the lines in the water, not quite sure what to make of them....from a texture overlay perhaps?

Not sure what lines in the water you are talking about. The colors in this are totally beautiful, my favorites.
