Description

A bit boring I know but a project I'm working on. Any help on improving realism, esp. the liquid, would be greatly appreciated. (3dsm R3)

Try a Raytrace Refraction and reflection map on the liquid material. Liquids refract light as well as reflect it. You can also control density with raytrace material. Do some lighting and material tutorials to understand what the computer is doing and how to Tweak it. If you have max6 you can use 'Generate caustics' wich give really realistic liquids. Hope this helps Best of luck!!
