Description

On γ-Corona Borealis 5, a desolate, dry planet with toxic atomsphere for humans, first contact was made with an intelligent alien race. The "T-Lleen" how they call themselves are still in pre-industrial era, so there are a lot of myth and superstition. But one of these caught the attention of our Research Team. A huge formation of four rocks, called the "Four Friends" is reported on the southern continent. The local myth reports of spontaneous healings of wounded or ill T-Lleen placed in the center. An scientific research team, was sent there on week ago, reporting that the so called rocks are made of a unkwon iridecent material, with almost no heat capacity. Contact was lost 2 days ago... My comments: IDEA: Well, part two of my Alien Artifacts. My first try, playing with pixel aspect ratio. Worked a lot on the surface, maybe a little to much this time :(, but couldn't restist to try what i learned from nostradamus2002 during our teamwork! Thanks again Vic! Very cool sci-fi idea!! Excellent work...the story fits very well with this awesome terrain! I really like the surfaces on the 'Four Friends'...very alien!

Very original and very well-done sci-fi picture ! Nice use of the bliss and the overhang effect ! You did an excellent job, as for the first picture.

Cool image Matthias! Sky, surface, POV and terrain really fit together. Though this place looks pretty hostile to me, this is excellent artwork. And as always your story is a nice addition.
