Description
Maria in the evening.
This image was an attempt to create dynamic clothing, i.e. the pantyhose, out of a previously conforming object. I'm still having difficulty with the simulation. After a certain number of frames, the clothing goes nuts and the simulation gets stuck. This one got far enough for me to atleast make a pretty nice render. If anyone has any tips on dynamic clothing, I would really appreciate it.

It looks great to me... but I do not know much about dinamic cloths :(..., very nice composition, beautiful artwork! -- B.B.

Nice work, the clothes and the pose are excellent, if anything could do with altering, its lighting and the background, looks like it is too low res for the res you are rendering at, try and resize it in a paint program, and run some smoothing on it, blur it out a bit so the pixels arent as ovbious. As for the lighting, you could tone down the one from the front, and introduce some side and rear lights as if she was lit from the scenery.

Nice posing and expression... And nice background! I don't know about the rest of the simulation, but this frame is ok! :)

This is a good view/idea! At times I have found Poser screws up the background resolution on rendering. (I.e., put a high res pic in the bacground and a low res version come out in the render.) If that's the case here, let me know and I can provide a tip on how to get around it.

Looks fine! The hair could have been better, but the dynamic cloth seens to have behaved like it should.
Converting conforming clothign to dynamic cloth is no sinecure. I've done it succesfully with the V3 Wizard robe from DAZ, but there are always issues. First: make sure it will be one single prop: weld the vertices on reimport. Using a modeler to weld the different part and eliminate duplicate vertices is an even better way (I use 3D Studio Max 4.2 for that purpose). Next: simplify the prop as far as you can. Make sure you remove intersecting parts, they'll be a regular pain in the butt when doing dynamic cloth calculations.
For a pantyhose like this, assign all vertices to the constrained group. Works best with tight clothing. If you want more tips and ideas on creating dynamic cloth, IM me, I've got quite some experience already...
By the way, great image!

Beautiful face and the pose is brilliantly put together, from legs up to her sideways glance. Very well done! :)
