my first visit to your gallery (though I've seen your comments many times), and I start with this simply because it has elements I find in a number of your works. A sense of illumination; a sense of deep space with mysteries inside. A sense of faded background, implying mysteries we cannot quite touch. A sense of exuberance and joy. Parts almost seem like they're behind a gentle screen, we seem to be looking at the trees through a mesh of some kind. And Mater Natura both drips and bursts into the landscape with finely crinkled chaffs for hair and a lot of light surrounding her...Some of your images are very humorous; this one is humorous but also serious. I even like the border, and how you continue the corner-lines into the painting...You do sensitive work: I'll be back for more. After seeing your comments for a while, it's so nice to actually see the art...
