Description

I think this is a Heartsease..or as we call them in Sweden...Stepmothers' violet. But don't take my word for it! Because I'm not sure :-). I really should get an flora encyclopaedia :-) Nikon Coolpix 5700: 1/125 sec f/3,5. Focal length 2,23 cm Photoshop for contrast, and level adjustments Thanks for viewing..all comments are appreciated :-)

A lovely delicate flower. It's called "bratek" in Polish, which means 'little brother'... :)

Violet, pansy and in German 'Stiefmterchen' and many other appropriate names in other languages though the Swahili name might be quite unknown. They are wonderful flowers appearing on the coast, in the swamps, high in the mountains and even in gardens :)
