Description

I was blessed with a mother who had 4 children and only wanted 3 and I was the one that lucked out and have passed that luck on to my kids as far as she is concerned. No matter how hard I tried I could never please her and still find myself trying today as an adult this is how it makes the little girl in me feel Played with the tears tutorial by Dalinise think I need more practise lol thanks for looking Chris :o)

Ahhh Chris! In my experience we're never good enough for our parents! I think it's one of those things :o( Sorry you feel so sad! This is beautiful work anyway - her skin texture is excellent in your lighting and the tears are not in your face (oooh..sorry, bad pun!)! Have a hug from me :o) Steve

You know that I know what it was like. All I can tell you sweetie is she isn't worth the trouble. She may never change, mine did but by that time it was to late. She had done to much damage to me in my life. Hugs :) Fantastic job on the emotions here.

One of the most realistic tears I've seen. Most are too thick and shiny. - Nicely done!

This image definitely hit a nerve with me! My mother taught me how to appreciate the arts but I was discouraged from every being part of them. After spending painstaking days on a charcoal portrait, my mother verbally ripped my skills to smitharines. I went many years thinking that I had no artistic talent whatsoever! If not for this wonderful community, I probably would still believe her. This image is very touching...thanks for sharing.
