I like that! Early morning shots can be so eerie. I really like how the sun looks in this one, and the weave of train tracks streaming into the distance. Did you take this from the back of the train? Excellent vantage point, wherever it was.

wanders in nightmare dazed reverie down by the tracks 'where... are they taking me.....' That Monday morning mood again! Well constructed photo.

I doubt this will have been taken from the back of the train as the perspective shows it's higher up - a bridge, more than likely? Love this shot Cass, the diffused flare and surrounding pastel pinks give this an air of fantasy and it's reassuring that skies like this really can exist in our reality! The detail receding into mist is just magical, thank you so much for sharing this with us HUGS :-D
Now my dad's come in and seen it and he's very impressed, complimenting you on your compositional balance, "pure poetry in that picture". Sure is, sweetie ;-)

This pic confirms for me that trains are the most romantic form of transport. What magical destination lies at the end of those tracks? (Don't spoil it by telling us, eh!?) btw, just put my portrait pic on my home page, heh, heh!

Beautiful light and composition. I love the light on the rails and the fact that the rails don't recede to a disappearing point on the horizon. Really nice photo, Cassie. :)

The sun low above the horizon, those moments of the day provide perfect lighting! Great shot!

What a beautiful shot! You captured the mist/haze and reflective light so well. Great job.

Very interesting shot, Cassie. I like the way the sun looks and makes everything kind of hazy. You did a good job taking this one. I would have probably had a sun spot on it if I took it. Did you use a lens shade or something to stop lens flare?

My baby took the morning train, she got to Fassifern and then, she caught the train back home again (but I was with her and wasn't waiting for her per se). This photo does the morning justice. The fog level was intense not many minutes earlier and the sun was like a burning cigar stabbing through the fog like it was paper. It was indeed taken from the overhead bridge, S'napse, as we were rushing for the bus. No lens flare, Lorrainejoy, just the freebie digital camera that came with the computer :) (mehopes me haven't given away any trade secrets, Frogglet!)

Things are always so still at morning; it's when the world is quietest and you can almost imagine you're the only person up and about, as would seem the case in this pic, with the fog still blanketing most people safe in bed still. Nice the way the tracks almost lead into the sun, but then veer away slightly at the last, like they're afraid of it.
