Description

While a butterfly drinks (or eats?) some nectar, a wasp approaches and tries to drive it away. At least it seemed that the wasps were a bit bothered by the butterfly. Maybe it scared away their prey? In front of the butterfly is another insect (presumably an ichneumon) looking for something eatable. (Scanned from Kodak Ektar 125 negative.) As this photo is very detailed, I uploaded a rather large version. Please tell me if this too big.

well... on my screen... 800X600... it could be a bit smaller & may make the grain a little less noticable, but sometimes grain can be good & i don't mind the scroll... really quite a beautiful shot & xcellent capture!! :]
