It's a great image. Another important thing to remember about this passage was that our faith was to be "child-like" not "child-ish". The difference is important. To be childlike means to have the trust, wonder, and respect of the Father's works. To be child-ish means to be immature-- failing to grow, learn or examine our faith carefully. We are told to do these things also.
