Welcome to my homepage. My name is Derry Sexton. By trade, I'm a IT professional (spelled sideways that's computer geek), but has always been into the media in some way shape or form. Scarlet X is actually the name of the team who are fated to come together to protect the balance between good and evil. There's already a character out there named Scarlet X and I don't want any confusion or trouble, but this team is lead by a vampire named Scarlet.
There's more to the universe of Scarlet X than just this team, as you will see in my gallery. There is also the Sisterhood, a unique group of women covering different religious and mythological sects, lead by Sister Rachel, whose soul purpose is protecting mankind from supernatural threats too big for a single person and collecting and safe guarding mystical artifacts from these particular religions. There's the Goths (a.k.a. the Children of Grimiore) and the Iron Crosses, two rival supernatural gangs that fight for dominance on the streets of Midnight City. And several others that I will introduce as the universe developes.
BIO
I'm currently working on my first indie called SCARLET X: THE PROPHECY and I have several pictures in my Gallery about some of the characters. I've worked with Poser for about few years (here and there) and I still don't know everything there is to know about this app. I'm also experienced in Max, Vue E'Spirit, and Daz Studio. I can add Photoshop, Carrara Pro, and Bryce to this list as well. Currently I live in Chicago, IL, USA...but originally I'm from Mississippi (and boy what a difference). My website is www.scarletx.com, but I'm still updating it so please be patient.

HA-HA-HA. I knew someone out there would think I was inspired by either Blood Rayne or Selene of Underworld. The fact of the matter is...Scarlet is roughly 3 1/2 years old, in creation terms. I've been writing stories and creating her on paper all of that time. I created the character as an amalgam of great badass characters that I like. With 3D art, it helps to bring my character to life. But, as the saying goes, first to print wins. BloodRayne came out in 2002 and Selene came out last year, so I guess all of us was thinking about a character like this at the same time. :)
