Description

This scene was created and rendered entirely in Poser, with brief touch-up in Photoshop. Nothing serious, just fooling around with light settings. I liked the way this turned out. As always, if you see any potential improvements in posing, scene composition, or lighting, please let me know. Thanks for looking!

The colors are great. Very soft and comfortable. She looks as if she is about to dance or perform a cartwheel. I assume that since the title is "The Freedom of Elves", she is happy about something

ok the pose is unnatural but the lighting isnt that far off if you apply a fire in front hence the red and concider ambient light not to mention that it is not supposed to be photoquallity. I think the image is wellrendered and if the pose was a little more natural i would concider it very nice.... I like it so just to stabb a needle in the eye of those who would be unnessicary with the rating system ill give it a ten and i dont normally rank at all.

I like your image Jack. It's good to see how popular this work is. I also hope you don't get any more trolls in your gallery. Helpful suggestions is one thing, trash ratings is another.

Compositionaly I find this image lacks some focus. Is it the image of the moon or the woman. Her pose is a little to rigid and the lighting seems inaccurate.

What am I, a magnet for this kind of crap? Since when did my gallery become a dumping ground for every 14-year-old nerd with no gallery?

Just to neutralize the 3 points. This pic is good looking. MM has no idea. He should show, that he could do better and then we are talking.

I just forgot to rank this the last time and even if I'm new at this I can recognize a great image when I see one. Because who judges that.....I DO!!!.....In my eyes it deserves what I give it!!!

I like the pic tough guy. Simple, yet awesome. Sometimes simplicity is the best thing.

I completely agree with MirroMan. I found your work lacks many important aesthetic values. Also, SergeantJack, MirrorMan's criticism is a valid one and very constructive. Instead of acting like an immature 3 years old, try to respond as an adult. I am assuming you are an adult. How you reacted to his valuable comments was quite pathetic. And if you really are an artist you would appreciate the type of good criticism MirrorMan gave. It can only help you improve.

Really, people...I see no need for you to use my gallery to make statements. If you feel the need to make a statement, go write your Congressman and leave my gallery the hell alone.

I said the same things about this image awhile back and got my comments deleted. SergeantJack made such a stink about it too. He had an admin threaten me with banishment. Thats why I will not comment on the work at all this time, or give it a rating.

Wow, it's been posted for almost 2 years and is still getting comments and is the #2 most viewed. I've got to give it credit for that. Sure, it may not be the most intricate or overly posed image, but it is simple and striking and ....I love elves! ;^) "Blue moon, you see me standing alone...."

The most viewed catagory is just self perpetuating now. don't give credit for something the work does not support.

This is a very excellent image. The coloring, the composition, the pose, everything about it is wonderful. I agree the rock and grasses could take a touch of light here and there as a hint to where they are. Otherwise, it is perfect!

You know, ext3180, if you dislike this picture so much, then why do you keep coming back here? Sounds to me like you're just wanting attention.

Wow, how cute is she? Can I be your little elf too, Sergeant Jack? ;) Please???? Heheh Seriously, this is a really cool picture. I like the imagination you used to add the grass silhoutte in front of the moon! The coloring/lighting is cool too. I'm also glad that artwork of a 'clothed' subject is amoungst the 'most viewed' pieces. You rock, Jackey! Keep it up. ....now about that elf business
