This is my entry to the CG Talk Macineflesh challenge. The final render output was 3636*2657 pixels @ 300 DPI.

Thanks :) I forgot to add that it's modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D XL 8.2 (with AR) and textured with BodyPaint 3D 2 and Photoshop.

This is GREAT! I also followed the threads and am very impressed with the final render. The only thing that looks a little off is the lighting from the cheeks to the bridge of the nose.

that's fabulous! it looks totally creepy and real, and the texture detail is stunning.just out of interest, how long did the render take? well done and good luck.

Thanks guys and gals :) punmaster: you seem to master Latin much better than me, so I'm sure you're correct. shakes: I rendered in two passes, front and background. The front (with the character) took some 30 minutes at the size and resolution specified above and with AA set to Best. The background took maybe 15 minutes. I then rendered a heap of alphas :)
