Description
The surface of the planet Venus is one we know little about in detail. A couple of Russian probes touched down and sent a few images, then they fizzled out shortly after. NASA's Magellan orbiter scanned the surface and gave us an idea of the topography.
My guess is that Venus' mountains are highly eroded due to the sulfuric acid atmosphere.
Next posting, I'll have my feet on the ground...
Thanks for looking in!

Nice theory, but one slight problem. The Venusian surface is constantly roasted at 860 degree temepratures, due to the planet's runaway greenhouse effect. Due to that alone, the acid rain would evaporate before it reaches the hellish surface. I am bringing to your attention because I have a hobby in amateur astronomy. My strength is mainly in the exploration of the planets of our solar system. Despite your theory being a bit off in regards to the Venusian environment, the image is excellent.
