I've been busy lately--mostly outside the world of 3D. But I did get to work on the above image. (this is only the second professional image I've posted here) This is the proposed entrance lobby for the new Austintown Middle School in NE Ohio. John DeFrance is the architect who designed the space. I modelled this with AutoCAD, radiosity with Lightscape, and finally rendered with 3D Studio VIZ. I hope you like it.

Not only and excellent image and render, but the thought behind it is right on target! Very much thought must have gone into the planning of the composition. And the end result was well worth it. The message is an inspiring one.

Great piece...It would be nice if in reality the young people coming out of our schools actually learned those things...
