Description

I got so many comments about the bump map, that I decided to find out just why it didn't look right. When I imported from Poser to Bryce using Wavefront OBJ format, the textures and bump map were all there in Bryce, but as you can see by the prev post, the bump didn't really work. I did some experimentation and found that you have to copy the texture to the second slot in the pictures list in Bryce to get the bump effect. This may not be the correct way, but I have found that most things in Bryce are a matter of trial and error. If anyone knows a good source of info on Bump and Trans maps I would love to see it. Well does it look better than the last one?

While I'm no expert in Bryce (fooled with it a little but that's about it) I can say I do like this one better. The textures for both the rocks and the scales of the Dragon seem to have more depth and weight to them. The skin in the Dragon also looks more realistic... it looked just a "tad" plastic in the other version. All in all, I think you did an excellent modification job on this version. It's a subtle, yet significant difference.

Excellent 3d effect from the texturing, atmosphere haze and pov. Fine job!
