Beautiful scene and fantastic composition. I love the blue tones, it makes you feel like you are really there sitting by the water or taking a dip. I'm so sorry to hear about Lucie, I know the pain of losing a dear loved one as our pets become. She's lookiing down from heaven. I find if you get another pet it helps with the healing not to say you can replace the one you lost but to make new memories with someone who needs someone to love them.

A beautiful image hon...I hope it helps to soothe his pain even if just a little...and I'm sure his beloved Lucie has passed over the Rainbow Bridge and is living the high life on the other side...just waiting till she can be joined with him once more :-)

Lucie was a beautiful little cat and I am privileged to have shared almost 19 years with her. She may well have gone on to other, better things - and I hope that it's the case - but I am left with a huge hole in my life, which is taking a lot to come to terms with. I loved the little lady; she was a real treasure. Your image is a fine and beautiful tribute to a wonderful companion and it is also eerily appropriate because she is one of the few cats in this world who adored water. It's so evident he loved her as dearly as I love my kitties and puppy, though I know the pain one feels when you lose a pet, companion and friend. My heart and sympathy goes out to you, Paul.
