Description
Hi!
I did a few glasses before with Lightwave and MAX. But this is my first one in Cinema4D (tried the demo).
I think its the best glass I did by now. It took about 3 minutes to render per image with radiosity and caustics (Lightwave would have rendered for hours ;) And so Mental Ray in MAX)
First one for realism. Second one would be romance ...
I dedicate this pic to Julia, the best thing that could happen to me ;)
C&C welcome

Good pic. The base could look a little more solid. Good luck with future renders.

Very nice work, so far.

ooh, caustics...

Base doesn't look solid because of the caustics :) I know what you are talking about, but its very difficult to make the base look solid without removing the caustics. The base generates caustics and this is why it looks so bright and less solid. And the second one is with glow ... bright on purpose btw. I used the cinema4D Demo for this just to mention ;)

Perfect work, wonderful glass texture. My radix complement.

very nice work. but yes the base needs to look more solid. it looks more like a contact lens than glass. but very good work. i know its hard to use demo versions. :)
