Description

Here's another fanciful rendering of the Arrow done a few years back. This one actually made it to a book cover. Again, the background is VistaPro. The time tunnel used AB textures.

The Arrow Project was something that we really should have taken advantage of. The Canadian GVT should have sold the technology, the principles and the physics of it all to the americans.

Thanks so much for the great comments. Bobby, VistaPro certainly cannot import objects or create realistic water, so I had to improvise. The background is a VP render mapped to a plane. The water is a textured reflective plane and the tornado texture was applied to a series of planes in tandem. The time tunnel shadow was added in Photoshop.

As lovely as the Arrow is I'm totally struck with the time warp f/x..is that tornado?...and how the heck did you manage to make it appear volumetric man...that's awesome. If any Canadian plane could have time travelled that the one. RE: the BG...does VP now import objects...wild...cool explanation...upon pondering how t do it that'a what i came up with as well...I was shootin from the lip again
