This is quite a nice render. I think it would have really stood out if you had added a bit of randomness to the non-virii spheres by altering each spin arbitrarily.

Very nice render and use of textures. Perhaps a little light would help, but the main thing I think it needs is a reflection map or something behind the camera to reflect. By the way, I simply LOVE the virus sphere texture. You did a fantastic job of conveying a sense of depth and menace. Y'know, this would make a cool movie! Start with them all the same, then show that one slowly changing, infecting the other spheres, and then corrupting them all. Hmmmm. How would this look if they were all EGGS?
