Hi, this page is about terragen/landscape and 3D-rendering
BIO
I am exploring cgi since the days with the Commodore C=64 (anybody remember HiEddi?) in the 80's. After that i was working with Amiga500/2000 and DPaint and different raytracing programs like Reflections/Monzoom (german raytracer), Real3D. Unfortunately the Amiga didn't make it and i have to move to PCs. I have found Terragen (v0.8x) some years ago, searching the internet for cgi and landscape rendering. My first impression was that it is rather complicated and not very capable and returned to raytracing. About three years ago, i took another try on it and since then i am really impressed about the quality output.

Nice picture but the water is a bit too rough imo, and there's this green band at the horizon which is disturbing ... Terrain, pov and surface are very good !

agree with micter about the horizon. but the water fits very good i.m.o. & the 3d-clouds look amazing.

Water terrain & POV are XLT, agree with Michael on the banded horizon, and I'm not too sure about 3D clouds, did you try 2D?
