"Well it comes down to this....." Sorry it was what popped in my head seeing this render and thinking of what she is telling this dragon. I like this alot... Very nice work on the lighting.

Yes the tweaking was worth it. And it is hard to make any image full of darkness to succeed - even though the darkest shadows here are blocked out too black, still, this one does. But more, this scene is superior because it is so believable. I am not distracted by layers of overlays that aren't seamless or chopped off or just overlaid and end up contemplating how some software or other works (or doesn't really) as if "some assembly is required" for my mind to 'see' the scene ... in my opnion this image is instructive and important because, I believe It is not about equipment (although they are all tools in the hands), It is about Content and Communiction; those who work in this form ought to view this, as a lesson in excellence, an example of how software does nothing, until it falls into the hands of an artist. "You have chosen wisely", the composition has a natural appearance, and a rythm only found in reality, and yet it is idealized as in well composed. This looks like a skilled painting, which only lets me have even more permission to contemplate ~ I can enter this scene and eavesdrop, I forget this is a computer and, I really want to creep in closer and hear that discussion we see depicted !!!

Quite possibly the best lighting I have ever seen! Not only is the dragon scale texture and the lady's armour brilliantly brought to life but the soft lighting of the background tree and walls just looks perfect too! This is simply breath-taking artwork of the highest calibre! Your hard work was definitely worthwhile! Very, very well done! And you get my VOTE for this one!

Wonderful!
I like everything on it!
The poses are great as are the expressions! Looks like she's fervently telling the dragon something that he finds very interesting!
Awesome composition and atmosphere. Love that glow coming from the staff!!
I don't dislike that greyish tone you have put on her armour but, I would have added some colour to the gems and filigree work. But then, I like to have a lot of colour!!
So good I think I'll vote twice! 8-)

Wonderful...The characters really draw the eye into the scene which is very well composed. Exceptional lighting as well. From the expressions on each face one can almost listen to what's being relayed.

This is one piece of prime art work!! The dragon's texture; the lighting; her pose and the reflective light from her staff--not to mention the awesome arch in the background. I love the darkness creating a 'cozy' ambiance for this tete a tete! On a scale of 1-10 this is a 20!!!! If you decide to make these into prints, I'll be the first customer to purchase!
