Description

I created this image as a birthday present for my darlin'. It's all created in Ultra Fractal, but had to be split into two fractals because my UF was complaining about it's 288 layers. So the flowers were added later as a separate render. Since I couldn't render large enough in my graphics program, I needed some help. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to "Deagol" for rendering this image large enough so that a nice print could be ordered. Thanks, Keith, for all the time and effort, plus the suggestions for improvement here and there. I couldn't have completed this project without you. The print looks great and it's all framed and ready to go. He won't see this till next Wednesday, so Happy Birthday to the love of my life!! And thanks for all your previous comments and thanks for looking, Maria

That is made with fractals?! Once again I'm awestruck by your pictures. This is so amazing, and what a beautiful present!

Oh Maria, this is beyond lovely; the colors and composition are splendid; the pears, flowers, vase and textures- all so excellent. You brought the elements together so beautifully, and what results is a fine work of art, and- more importantly, a gift born of true love. Kudos to keith, too, for helping out, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mike!

The irises could be taken for a photograph, and the pears look scrum;ptious! One of your very best, Maria - I'm awestruck! And how nice of Keith to render this for you! I'm sure it is an outstanding print, and that your "darlin" will love it!

That was fast. Glad it turned out OK. You already know how I feel about this image. It's your best so far and one of the best composition images ever created with UF.

288 layers?!? I don't use half of that. Hell I don't even use the square root of that... :-) Well, the presentation is nothing short of inspiring. I like how you managed to give the vase shading. And those shadows must have taken forever to get right. Vote comming up!
