Description

This is currently the project I'm working on and is still a WIP, note the bubble at the rear without the frame. The Catalina was the greatest flying boat ever built and greatly contributed to Allied war effort. It was credited to spotting the Bismarck that led to its sinking during the war in the Atlantic. It has also been extensively used in the Pacific threatre. Modeled in Rhino. Your commments are most welcome.

Very nice modeling..the color and perspective give the render an Art Deco look.

keep it up, the catalina is still one of my favorite non-fighter aircraft of WWII. something romantic about seaplanes. the germans had a rather nice tri-engine design in the BV-138
