My first attempt at making a 'painting', in Photoshop, from scratch.

So vibrant, alive with color. Wonderful thick textures. A true painting. Thw dark sun really works. It may be almost black in color but somehow it seems to give off light. How'd you do that? I think the lens flare is the secret. You are very creative and talented. It's not easy creating from scratch. Congrats!
