Isn't it amazing though how those four words are at the heart of virtually every major political issue facing mankind today? So many views and interpretations on just that "simple" principle. Beautiful image, by the way -- excellent composition.

What is murder? Defending your country?... bitter jealousy?.... slander?....abortion?... suicide?....the intention of the heart and will to hate despite the wisdom of the law of love. Murder today often occurs spiritually in the human heart without it being enacted publicly that is 'safe murder'... i.e. murder that can be rationalised or self excused on some other agenda.... oh... cool picture, the hand of the slain reaches out in pity...the wounds on the saviour's hands came from laying his own life down for others (us all) in perfect sacrificial love!!! Who understands this properly.... huh???

I can relate to the beauty of the picture... it's enourmose. But in my heart I tend to agree with addiek. There are no rules on this globe we can make simple. And murder is no exception.

Outstanding composition! The golden-yellow tones are beautiful, soothing. The wound in the palm of the hand speaks of the futility of the commandment: "Thou Shalt Not Kill" Are "kill" and "murder" always synonyms?
