Description
This would be Lirin, my character in a Talislanta game I'm in. She's a Tarteran (half-devil, half-archaen) Necromancer from the Midnight Realms. Not pictured is her shiv-rat cross (basically a giant cockroach (that looks extremely cool)and a rat). She enjoys merging creatures together to see what new combinations she'll get.
Studying and changing a living being's anatomy is something she enjoys immensely. Despite how it sounds, she's not evil. She's just very curious and a little morbid. And extremely obsessed with magic and power.

The skull was drawn last-minute in photoshop, so it came out a little (ok, a lot) smaller than I meant it to. But on the other hand, I can just claim that it's the skull of one of the many smaller races in the land ;) That's my story and I'm sticking to it grins And noone's mentioned anything about it yet, but I'll do so myself. The left side of the book (our left) is being held up by magic. Ayup. Magic is supporting that side looks around all shiftily

Very nice work. I especially enjoy the anime overtones. Nice detailing of the form and incredibly cute. Lirin actually reminds me of a female Tiefling necromancer that I created for a DnD game; we threw out that silly alignment crap (Death must be stereotyped as evil)and I pretty much played her in a manner similar to your character, although her thing was summoning.
