Description
It began innocently enough... just a typical Apophysis session... dragging triangles around and clicking mutations in a random fashion... but something didn't feel right. Flames were skittish and scarce; and the only ones I could find that were marginally appealing seemed to have a large bite taken out of them. I clicked once more on a particularly tattered looking mutation and while waiting for the main window to render the result, I sighed and looked over at my sweet-disposition-challenged calico cat, Lucy, whose default murderous stare usually inspires me in some direction before she actually lunges for my throat.
"Where in hell have all the nice flames gone?" inquired I, even while her ears were making their descent to lay flat atop her leonine skull and her killer's eyes became mere slits.
"I ate them for lunch!" The whispered reply was so hot and close to my left ear, I decided my hair must surely be on fire. I whipped around to look at the monitor and there he was... the little devil who had eaten a session's worth of flames... whose eerie, hoarse whisper had singed the controls of my left speaker.
Ignoring the searing pain of Lucy's fangs plunging deep into my bare shoulder, I quickly clicked on the render button before the devil could make his escape... cuz I knew you guys wouldn't believe me if you didn't see it for yourself.
Any relation to you, Lenora? lol! One APO flame, default gradient, no postwork save for sig and frame. Thanks so much for having a look and for your gracious comments on my previous uploads! :) ~Helen~

Glad you captured him! He may be a devil, but he is a very attractive one--who could dislike him? Not me!

Delightful story and a stunning flame and presentation; much too gorgeous to be a devil..unless it's Lenora :?) Love the rich deep red and gold coloring, and the structure is brilliant. So excellent!
