Description

This old car used to be a woman, she was driving trgouht the life, without thinking. She was beautiful, she was reflectong the light. Her smile, her eyes, were beautiful, bringing love and light in our life. I remember her... Nobody knows why she's there, now. What did happen. She's there, standing against this dark wall, waiting for nothing, waiting for someone... A man, who will never come. This picture is talking about life, again. Our life. A picture to meditate. Who are we, and where do we go from here? ----------------------------- Enjoy your visit! And thanks for all your clever comments on "broken 5" (especially Mikan, who dared to say he didn't like this picture! I understand you, my friend. That's why I hesitated before posting it, but I think I was right to post it. Because all art is subjective. IT helps us to discuss and think about life, beauty.. and their dark sides. :-)

This is a picture of absences. The broken woman is more an absence than a presence, and the man who will never come has always been the denial of presence. A picture is worth more than a thousand silences.

Another image to think about, not just look at... But what makes you so sure it was a woman, maybe it was a guy who spent his youth partying and having fun and now found himself alone, old and useless? :))) It's just a feminist in me talking here, but I do love the image very much :)

I adore your use of light...I have dreams of trying to replicate the strength one of these days. I must disagree with Niutek though...you're right...it is a woman...almost all cars are girls

As Gerhard said expressive photography art.... I love the work that you do, almost all of it evokes an emotion or deep thought.... I love the grittyness of this.....

She still "is" beautiful...not "was" in my opinion!!!! Broken down and old. Waiting, for what you ask? For someone to see her inner beauty...for someone to see her worth...for someone to fill the emptiness...for someone to help her as she goes through life's transitions. Beautiful image!!! thanks for giving us something else to think about! vote!
