Description
Well to paint two pieces of cloth took me 10 days and somewhere in the neighbor hood of starting over about 20 times. One thing I did figure out, is I have no idea how clothes supposed to drape on the human body.

She looks so beautiful with the starry night sky around her!! Beautiful postwork, and the cloth looks great hon! Mine never looks like I want it to either, so I know how you feel! I think it's part of the growing process we all have to work through for ourselves, if for no other reason than to be happy with what we can do! That's how we learn from day to day!! :)

A.D., I see you becoming the next 'Varga'. This artist was very famous back in the late 40s and early 50s. He was known for the 'Varga Girls' which he did for Esquire Magazine. Excellent work here!

You know what? For a newbie at cloth painting, you did a wonderful job!! If you're interested, there is a great book out there that explains the principles of how cloth drapes over a body, with plenty of illustrated examples. I have this book and I find it indispensable: Dyamic Wrinkles and Drapery by Burne Hogarth. Great work!! :O)

I think you did an awesome job...I've just about given up learning to paint...period. I just plain stink at it, so I'll stick to what I know LOL BUT...I do know that MiKoO has a couple of really amazing cloth painting tutorials right here at R'osity, and they are in the Tutorials section...hope that helps a little :-)
