Description

After a lot of discussions about imports from Poser 5 to Vue Pro i wanted to test it a little closer - and tried one with a different Poser things. That it was a good reason to play with some new toys is another thing :D. All worked well, even the transparency of the sunglasses was fine, i only made it a little more transparent to see the eyes of the Lady a little better. And as usual i changed the highlight values of the skins in Vue, i always find black highlights that come out of Poser a little strange. And blunt. Who is who here? SunTigee/specs2 Emilia with Quarker's Grace Lion hair, Brycetech Boa and Digiport tongue; DM TimePrisoner (one of my favourite props); Solarisanline's Gazali (the boy in the back); TreePro Palms. Vue Pro on Mac G4. Postwork in Photoshop for the blur (it was planned crisp and sharp but looked better like that). This i "dedicate" to Linda, she always says that it is better to do blurs in PS. I am still not convinced! Ah, beside the sun only one extra point light. I am a fan of as little light sources as possible! Keep it simple!

Oh very well done and the personality of the artistry really comes through. Very photo realistic you should be very proud of your effort on this. :O)

LOL! Love the dedication!! I STILL say blurs are better done in Photoshop or PSP! Did this image take hundreds of hours to render because of the blur like your last one did? Probably not AND it was very surely easier to control the blurring intensity here. LOVE the girl and her sassy pose (reminds me of ... well, me!) but I kind of wish I could see the guy more. He looks hunky!! ;-) Wonderful job, Walther!!

Very interesting image, Walther! First of all I wanted to say "great DOF" or something similiar until I read your comments about using Photoshop. ;P IMO it's a good idea to use PS to do the blur...since it reduces the rendertime significantly. I also agree with you about reworking the skin's texture. I'm never satified with the results after importing the figures either. Happy rendering, blurring and testing! :)

Love your commentary my friend. Ineteresting stuff. The image is a fine one and refreshing in content as BGHart said. The background structure is quite spectacular. As for the blur conversation, it seems silly to wait for a Vue Bur rendewr when it can be done better and instantly in another program. If it cam out better in Vue that would be another story, but I do not think that is the case.

I was wondering how you were doing fast images with blur (DOF) when the render time skyrockets... so... PS is the secret. Excellent image and love the tongue posing. Well done.

Wonderful results with the blur! It looks more subtle when done in PS I think. The lighting is superb in this one and the posing is fabulous, only maybe you could move Mr. Hunk a little closer :)

After just looking at the image for five minutes (or so) without reading description or commentaries) I thought: This is a postwork blur - the leaf upon her head tells the secret. I'm doing by myself a Vue blurred image - it's in the render engine since yesterday morning... sigh Guess there is a difference between post-blur and Vue-blur.

So THAT's the famous tongue! lol, Walther, that's such a great expression! Nothing like a raspberry...and of course we know Linda would never do that, heh heh!! Great image!

I will not be lured into either the "blur debate" or the discussion of the "'hunky' in the back"...btw, ya still owe me for posing for this, walther...LOL...but, while I am here I will chime in with a "great job", especially on the Poser texes!! ==steve==

Very funny, perhaps an inside humor joke? I really don't get it but that's ok. Keep up the nice job.
