great start, nice lighting and atmosphere,a little more work on your surfaces is needed, but still a great first render

As for the first one, it's nice :) You sholud use more texture layers, you know: ie. 3 layers of rocks, 3 layers of a grass... something like that. Slightly different hues, slightly different bumping, etc. Keep up the good work and waiting for next ones :)

Yes, nice beginning! A little tip : try to stop the green layer at some centimeters before the water level. It will add some realism.

This really says much about a first-timer. You definitely have the basics down & rays on top of that! All above is good advice & here's mine: beware of 3D clouds. Not always so realistic. Welcome to the community & good luck!
