WOW! Given it is an early render... Influences? Mmm, I see a bit of LutzB in here, but all in all i find it really original. You could improve it (given your skills are better, now, and they are!) by giving a little more variety to the hillsides. It is still an excellent effort!

It is great to see this terrain from overhead. It gives you much appreciation for all the excellent detail. It is probably just coincidental, but the six-sided geometric shapes that appear in the upper right-hand corner is a symbol used for mapping chemical compounds...in this case: Soda Ash??? Once again Rich, this is excellent work!
