Downloaded terragen a few days ago. Here is one of my first attempts. Constructive criticism is appreciated. :)

Very good on begginer:-). But two things- First: The sky should cover one or two thirds of the picture. Never one half. Second: Your picture has many horiznotal lines - The Sky, The Mountains, The water and the downer frame. So, if you have so many horizontal thing, In my opinion you should crop the picture in one horizontal rectangle. Otherwise: Very good mood and excellent font in the downer frame:-)

Welcome and nice first posting. In the morning, mist tends to hover within a few feet of the ground (or water). Try lowering the mist in the picture. I think you will like the effect. You will also find that the sky becomes more clear and crystalline as well.

Very good on beginner indeed, better than me :) I agree with stbc about the haze. You could increase density slightly and lower the half-height a few meters. I like the colors of the sky and the water looks great too. Keep on going!
