I most like the shades of the armor material, it seems like you've done some careful exploration of the mat editor there. The only slight change I'd try myself would be to reduce the shininess strenght of the metal though, espescially for the mail. Oh, and I second the perspective comment : a daring angle, but well done! Herv

great perspective (as mentioned above). Very dramatic. Beautiful set up of props, makes for a full scene. I, personally, like the shininess of the armor. It gives a powerful outlook to the character.

Thanks for your comments... after several weeks looking at this picture, I agree with you, aspi', the chainmail is really too bright. As you said, I worked hard on the material editor and I'm now happy with what's come from... :-) In fact, I'm really suprised that somebody like this picture, 'cause in fact, it was just a quick study on procedural textures (as I don't like to work with mapped textures). It was supposed to be a first step for a future scene that I finally never ended... maybe some day... :-) For bringing back to Caesar, etc... the character (with all props) has been created by Jon Mallis (he made some great RPG characters). My only work was to change textures...
