Okay, basicly the same idea as in my 'Rose and cross'-pic but I made some changes and tried to fix few problems. Hopefully you like it and please, write comments and advices. Thanks :)

Very nice idea. The compositon is good, maybe have the rose smaller with more darkeness around it (but not centered) would ehance the effect. Also, try shooting the rose separately and then adding it into a dark background so that the flower itself isn't so dark. Just some thoughts...

Yes an improvement....! And very nicely done! As cynlee says the flower is a bit too dark, but a little tweak in your image program could fix that.
