Formerly I'm a physicist (theoretical physics, astrophysics and cosmology) but art is my second life. All free time I devote myself to figurative arts, writing and music.Â
My favorite themes (and ispiration sources): Science Fiction and gothic Horror (mainly H.P.Lovecraft and Clarck Ashton Smith), surrealism (Dali, E.C.Escher, Magritte), Gaudi (in architecture), Sci-Fi illustration (Jim Burns, Syd Mead, Chriss Foss, Tim White and some others) and the great french "bande dessinee" masters (Druillet, Moebius, Caza, Bilal, Schuiten & Peeters); electronic music (Klaus Schulze, J.M.Jarre and Tangerine Dream) to complete.
Unfortunately, job (and real life) does not allow me to be present with continuity, sorry!Â
UPDATE on early 2013.Â
It's not uncommon that real life follows strange ways, different from own expectations. Arts could become my primary job (and science a part-time occupation or hobby?!?). Soon I can be considered as scientist turned artist.Â

I like this......very well done

Very nice and well put together....! I really like the concept of pieces of film put together to make a complete image. The only thing I find that could make this image even better are the bits of white that are visible in a couple of the frames... Real film doesn't look this way. So maybe cloning in those white spots, to create a more realistic appearance?

Very imaginative work! Your image and words made me think about how only bits and pieces of ourselves are seen by others. Fantastic thought provoking image! vote!

I like this effect. I think you have done really well in communicating the subjective view.

You're right Michelle! However it's partially intentional! I've tried to fill the white but I wasn't satisfied. At the end I've decided for a simple white as part of our emotion and ideas too (often clear or undefined as the white :-)
