Considering that this is the tutorial image that comes with the 'chrome mapping' plugin for max, the steel ball on the right is real, and is where the reflections and lighting are taken from for the fake objects (kind of like HDRI lightprobe). So the smaller sphere on the left, the golf ball and the small white strip under the small chrome ball are all fake. The white strip under the larger sphere is a piece of white tape

Fake is: a golf ball, left (smaller) metal ball and box under that smaller ball... Texture of that smaller metal ball is taken from that bigger one :-)

Ok, let's look for objects with no dust, or shadows, or too sharp ou too blurry... I say the 2 metal spheres are fake because we do not see the kodack in them (do we ?) and the golf ball seems small and not bumpy enough... Do I pass the exam ?
