Description

Most objects by Vue 4 (see credits below), no postwork. The past days I watched sundawn and was really astonished that I recognised significant differences to the output I get from Vue. Well, I stood there and asked myself 'What's wrong with nature ?'. First of all the trees that I saw had young branches reaching high in the sky, second I could see colors only in a range of some meters, in some more distance all objects looked black without a smooth fading effect, and I mean really black not dark grey or something like this. The result is, that you lose nearly every information about depth. I was not able to achieve this effect by tuning the atmosphere, so I made the trees and bushes manualy black to get the result. I think this is not an image if someone is looking for many views, but it's the nature I saw and ... who cares about views. Thanks for your comments and looking. I know the problem you mention. You can create a bolean cube without any openings - but when you put the camera inside it is never as dark as it should be. Even when I delete the sunlight remains always a rest of light. Well, you solved the problem perfectly. Your picture reflects absolutely the mood of an evenening garden scene. (Hope you understand my english.)

I think we all should spend a little more time observing nature.....ie colors/shadows/ the effect sun has in day(all times) & the nighttime. Then we'd all produce more realtistic pics. Excellent job here. Well done:)
