Description


This is a halo effect caused by horizontal orientated ice crystals in a Cirrostratus cloud. The sunrays get a retfraction inside these crystals and form this wavelike shape in the sky. The Upper Tangent Arc change its form, when the sun comes up or go down. More about this later... Comments are welcome! Best, Reinhard!
