Description

A little explanation of my poem: My father was known in his little city back in Montreal as the "walker"at the ripe YOUNG'age of ninety he would walk 10 miles to and from his bank and errands almost daily: so this IS truly him. ************************** I see you everyday An old gentleman walks my way He walks with pride so straight so tall Although I feel his legs in pain I know vanity is his gain I ponder and think of you Taking walks you use to do I smile at him and say hello For a stranger I do not know But he is no stranger after all It's you my dad so straight so tall I see you everyday *********************** From your daughter, Evelyn: with love I miss you so ------------------------ Happy Fathers Day to all you dads /grandfathers:
